I dont really know if anyone else on here has seen or done this to a k10 but i think i got the idea off some other k11 micra from facebook or something, never seen it on a k10 and didnt know if it was a great idea but i went at it and looks soo much better, delighted! i took out the two headlights and cleaned up the glass and mirror inside the lights because there was always dirty moss kinda **** sittin in around the headlights and could see it easyly enough but anyways i cleaned it all up and masked up the mirror from the headlights and the sidelights and sanded and primed with gloss black, let it dry out and put a brow thing on top of the headlight using headlight tint, same as window tint i think, before i sealed it up for good :p
in the end tho it really turned out way better than what it was before and makes a difference to the appearence of the car :)

( if anyones gonna try that headlight darkening job, get warm water and let it sit in it for a ood 10 mins so soften up the seal holding on the glass to the mirror because the glass is fragile as **** haha )

Heres a few pictures of the process :)

excellent...love the way the lights turned out
The interior looks pristine in that first picture ^_^

I don't think I've ever seen a k10 in that colour, it's gorgeous.

How did you manage to get the glass out from the front lights? Just heated up? And more importantly, how did you get it back together? :p

I filled the headlight with warm water and let it soak ten mins or that and then got boiling water and with the glass side down and mirror side facing up I put the water on around the edges and got a small flat headed screwdriver and gradually started to try lift it off the glass :) worked grand for me like so should work for ya! When ya have the glass off make sure ta take all the rubber **** left on it or it wont seal right when your gonna seal ot again, all I used was this kinda rubbery glue stuff haha it holds it no problem and sealed perfect :)

Dats da truth. Ah us k10 owners look out for one anuda! Me and him buy parts off each soda da hole tym.
Thats the way to have it! Located me a 5 speed box last week and I got it from naas! Theres a lad there and has a full one to break if ya want parts ill give ya the name and number haha :)

This is awesome, I'm English but I was actually reading it in my head in an Irish accent cos of the way it's written :)

I myt have sorted a set of CBR 600 carbs for 70 euros so hopefully I get dem. I'm sell in my SU carb to get some money together. Nd I'll make my own 4-2-1 manifold so just really need a sunroof now.

Lads and lassies, lookin for a sunroof for a k10 , fierce hard to find one but does anyone have one for sale or know any similar ones from a different car? Badly needed for a lad that has a project car and wants it finished! All help appreciated lads, thanks!

Ya ever find a sunroof lad

Have my k10 lying up about a year and a half now and doing nothing with it so started it today for the first time since July and not a bother on it so had an idea of converting it to a pick up! Seen a few k11's conversions but no k10's completed, what's everyone's opinions? I'm kinda 50/50 on this so someone give me some ideas or if anyone knows any conversions already done please show pics!
