MSC March FHK11 Cabriolet Section!

Hi just an idea and looking for input and suggestions?

Would it be possible to have a specific section for March FHK11 Cabriolet's within the K11 section to share any relevant Cabriolet information, promote discussion, source parts and offer help and advice on this very rare version of the K11?

Cheers
Andy :D

We usually don't introduce a new section until there's a specific demand for it. I think we waited till there were about 10 Superturbos before creating that section but I'll give it some thought and let you know!

Hi James it would good for the forum because it will attract potential new members searching on the web for information/advice and help on the rare FHK11 March Cabriolet! Apart from a March Cabriolet Club Facebook group there is virtually no point of contact for Cab owners! Being rare means obtaining the specialist information on issues including technical/servicing/trim and sourcing specialised parts is very hard! There has been a resurgence in interest in the Cabriolet through more becoming available to buy! :)
Cheers

Yeah I agree too, a dedicated section would help build this sub-community.

If demand is too low then I'd suggest a K11 imports section (where the wider audience might justify it better) as most of the parts-sourcing trouble will apply just the same to 'hard top' March. Thinking of how the K10 Superturbo forum has helped owners understand their engines' nightmare vacuum plumbing & how the Pao forum has helped with sourcing body panels... looking past the charm & romance of it, I can't think of a huge number of issues that are truly unique to Cabs (OK - roof fabric & mech, rear passenger windows & boot lid come to mind). Combining with March K11 means those members are encouraged to help Cab owners & vice versa with more general import issues.

I don't mean to go against your excellent idea Andy, I'm just adding my original free thought into it. :)

I am a real 'newbie' to the MSC, having just acquired a March Cabrio this very week. It was great to find such a useful resource of Micra enthusiasts and that there are more Cabrio's out there in the UK. I have been fortunate to have been greeted so warmly by another Cab owner and I am sure if a specific section was sanctioned it would make this already great site even better!

I'm sure if this was introduced, it would attract great interest.
Not just to the cab owners, but to all K11 enthusiasts.
Might even get another one Andy - :p or two maybe
I am not selling my beautiful Steffi Cab back to you mate she loves her new southern sub-tropical tax haven island retreat. She just loves it when we go to the beach on hot sunny barmy days especially when her top is down and she feels the warm breeze tickling her hot interior trim lol! B-)

You are right mate looks like they used FFL bits like the front bumper ect and just re-upholstered and re-trimed the interior. I am also thinking they used the JDM FHK11 as a Base but that doesn't explain the left hander! B-)

I'm new to the March cabriolet and have benefited from the club already. Just taken mine for its first spin!

Didn't know spares were so difficult to come by and I'm sure a designated K11 section will speed up any sourcing enquiries.
Hi Christine hope you enjoyed your first jaunt in the Cab it's a great little car especially with the top down. Also get used to people staring at you as you drive passed it's a head turner and the comments "I didn't think they made a Micra Cabriolet" or "what is it"! Have you some pics yet of the Cab if so please post them?

That's for sure Andy, get used to people turning their heads when you drive past, literally everyone.
I drove past a garage one day, and all the fitters came running out to look at her
Couldn't be dealing with that - she had to go.
Now you have her. :D

£238 I think it converts to for it unpainted but new! That's without fees and shipping
