moding my aerial

i am wanting to mod my aerial but dont know how to convert it to recive a bee sting style aerial (simple screw in type aerial) the newer k11s have the twist on style aerials but mine doesent. can any 1 help?

make sure you get the one that lock into place with a key or a special screwdriver otherwise you wont see it again the next day mate

i have seen adaptors for sale in halfords that should solve the problem.

why not take the pre facelift aerial off and fill the hole, then get a facelift aerial and put that on the roof in the middle

I just bought a bee sting aerial and drilled a hole in my roof and ran the wire through the roof lining and down the A-Pillar

i heard the reception from bee stings where rubbish but i put one on my g/fs corsa today and it sounded great. not as good as the normal ariel but not much difference

Get a decent one and you will get a good reception, get a cheap one and you won't. You get what you pay for.



2 aerials get married, the ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was great!
