Mildred has had a good day! She's been washed, polished, peanut buttered and hovered. She's all squeaky clean and shiny once again ^.^

Ouch for you ouch for me... will have to have a look if it needs a touch up or not black isnt to hard to blend and still have the paint in my shed

had exactly the same, luckily I caught my culprit, moved his car before knocking on my door then said he wasn't parked by me until I showed him photo proof!

So had a look at my bumper in the daylight

Still not the best of pictures
I have polished and polished it
This is the best I can get it

I think it'll need a touch up

Soo..... I dragged MicraPro to the scrappers in the rain ooo he was chuffed... Good job I make damn good coffee
Had a siffle around
After some swearing and sitting on stinging nettles we came away with new rear lights and a new back bumper


The plastic on the lights had faded so we masked them up

And sprayed them look like new

Just need to get them on The car
Then next job is the back bumper

You would choose the only one that was so low due to lack of wheels for the bumper!!

Been a productive day.... Yet not completely successful :/ micra pro was at work so had to entertain my
Self.....
My wing mirror had a crack in it

So I fibre glassed it and body filled it not bad for a first attempt

Then painted it black and put it back on Mildred
Painted fogs red to match my front bumper I will get some pics
Then started on the back bumper

£20 pound from the scrappers can't complain....
Had a crack in the bottom

Drilled the end of the crack to stop it cracking more. Fibre glassed it up along with my iPod and phone screen.... oops! 0.o

Body filled and sanded it down

While that dried it was time for the most important bit of the entire procedure

Masked up ready for red

Red detail painted

Went to remove the masking tape and it pulled up all the black paint :'( so photos will follow when it looks pretty and I've stopped swearing at it!
Bought a sub and amp will post pics soon

Driving back from micra pros when I hear a hideous scrapping noise :O

drove Mildred like a granny till I could pull over safely. Pulled over to take a look (outside a beer garden) where I had five lovely young men run over (see a woman scrabbling under a car and come to offer help) just my luck they were mechanics and after spending about 20 minutes admiring my Mildred :L decided to very professional remove the bit hanging of my car (when I say professionaly..... Literally ripped it of ) to which I found out it was the heat shield protecting my cat!

Drove it home and me and daddy bear had a check underneath luckily my cat still looks ok!
Well I know what I'll be doing in my lunch break tomorrow

On the pluss side sub sounds amazing and if I crank it up drowns out the hideous noise of my car falling apart
