Micro radio to old for Nissan to fix

Micra 10 plate radio to old for Nissan to fix.
Radio states pin entered to many times radio locked contact nissan dealer.
Took micra to dealership they stated they can't do anything with it as it's too old Nissan said I can purchase a new radio ( but same model) ?
Anyone able to help, I cannot believe you can unlock a phone but not a car radio in 21st century

I sent mine off to DND services LTD, they managed to recode the radio to work for my car and reset the code to 0000 so I could unlock it even thought the screen was damaged

edit: k11 1996, radio repair cost £42
