Hey guys! I Have recently just brought a k11 1.0 16v Micra! In black 
As there was no recently service history and I had trouble starting her, I thought I'd have ago at changing some bits myself (not very mechanically minded) and had some interesting results!
This is the new and old air filter! Mental!
Turns out the air filter had been in the car since 2004!!
So I carried on and changed the oil filter and got that sorted, but still felt as if the old girl wasn't firing at her full potential, so I looked at the spark plugs and found this...
Bad right? But now after changing the plugs she starts and runs a treat! And for a little 1.0 she can definitely move when she needs to!
So I thought as ive got the bonnet up il have a bit of a clean! Out came the wire brush... And I tried to clean up the rocker cover which after a while started to look alright! Planning on painting this red!
And that's all I've really done to the car so far apart from adding the odd air freshener or two.. But Anyway! Thanks for reading! I shall continue to post as much journey goes on! Hoping to eventually paint the trims black and install an induction kit and make it a bit rally looking! So any tips or advice wouldn't go a miss! Cheers guys!
