Micra Radio Problem

Hi can anyone help. I have a 98 Micra with standard radio fitted. The thing is I stupidly pulled the connector wires out of the back and didn't make a note of what went were. Anyway I've followed some of the threads on wiring and using a multimeter think I've connected things correctly. However although the security light flashed now and the radio comes on when I turn on the ignition the LCD display doesn't really anything (just the odd line). I'm assuming that this is asking for the code which I have but it won't come on. It driving me nuts. Please help.

Faulty Radio

Hi Jollee.
My radio does the same, its the screen connections, I think you will have to dismantle the radio and check the screen connections, Nokia used to have the same fault with their phones and when you pressed them different parts would then work!

,i know its a long time ago but having the same problem,i am ripping my hair out please any1 help
there is power to radio but screen virtually blank so i cant enter code
