Micra NCVT Problem. Why it doesn't work?

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the NCVT transmission of my K11 Micra 1.3 ´98. It has 135.000km.

I can turn on the car perfectly, and also move the gear without any trouble, but the car does not move at all when I get into R or D either. I already changed the carbon brushes [although they were good (as you can see in the pics)] and I have checked that oil transmission is fine.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Frank, first of all thanks for your answer.
I did the diagnosis before change the carbon brushes but all the blinks had the same duration so it is supposed there aren't any fault, what obviously is wrong.
The mechanic advised me to scrapping it, nevertheless I still hope find a cheap solution (not change the whole clutch) to save it.
