looks like a photochop. Anyways if it's real it'll be decent in a stright line but it'll drive like a shooping trolley with a broken wheel round corners.

its a nissan vvl engine transplant, variable valve lift. think similar to vtec but nissan.

comes in 1.6ltr = sr16ve 173bhp and sr16ve n1 197 bhp.

and 2.0ltr = sr20ve 204bhp and sr20vet 276bhp

i think the one above may be a sr16ve not sure though.

i can't see it affecting the handling any, as a 1.6 is an option on the k12. this is just a superb 1.6. all alloy engine so it'll weigh similar, if not lighter than the HR16DE.

as far as i am aware there is no weight difference - or size difference between the sr16ve and sr20ve.
Im not sure of the weight between the hr and sr though

thanks pete, i knew they were the same size. guess the weight should be similar if not the same.

dobermanba - these engines have been put in k11's many times not in the UK however. search the forum for more info on these. i think it micra pete who posted the tiwanese micras with vvl's
