Micra K12 S 2005 Key Fob

Hello,
Sorry to ask this question as i suspect its been asked many times before but I have not found one method that works.
I have purchased a Micra K12 S last week which has two keys. One works and one doesn't.
Both key fobs are complete with new battery and I have taken it to the lock smiths and they both have the required chips to deactivate the immobiliser and they both function but they want £120 to reprogram it whilst Nissan want £80.

I don't have much money as I am a student and I was wondering if there is anyway to get the spare key working.
If I could just get the central locking to work it would allow me to get into the car at least should the other key get left in the car without having to climb across the seats although the immobiliser would be an added bonus
Thanks
Jake
