Micra K12 - Is it 65 or 80 hp ??

I recently bought an 03 Micra - K12 -1240cc. Great little car and I love it !! But how do I find out if it is 65 or 80 horse power ?? When ordering parts online, I am asked this. It's probably important for insurance purposes also.
Ive gone through all the paper work, including the Registration Cert (Log Book), but there is nothing to denote the HP ... I should also say that this is an Irish Registered car so the many fantastic UK parts websites, unfortunatly don't recognize the Reg Plate . Can I get the info from the VIN.

Dunno, you could try dropping into your local motor factor and give them the reg? Or phone your nearest Nissan dealer. The insurance people will have the info too, I bet. Enjoy the car, well wear, as they say around here.

Thanks for the info. I'm told that the 1.0 litre engine is 65 hp and the 1.2 litre is 80. I guess that would make sense !!

Look up via model name such as mine is 1.2 urbis Google or your search engine will return what the bhp is.
Mines a 80hp.
Some of the basic model are 65hp.

The 80hp engine has a solenoid on the left back area of the engine that activates the intake camshaft phase shift valve (VVT solenoid).
