Micra 1.3i SLX '94 - Horn Relay.....

Hello,

I hope I put this in the correct category. (Sorry If I Did Not).

Basically, I have done multiple tests and I have found that the horn relay does not work, I have been trying to find a new one on eBay and been to many car shops and nothing.

I got this relay to fit however I cannot work out what terminal goes where using male & female spade connectors.

The car relay socket has 3 female space connectors.
The relay i bought has 5 terminals. (30, 85, 86, 87, 87a)


Please could someone help me?

wiring for your horn
30 - power supply for horn (green/black wire)
87 - output supply to horn (green wire)
86 - loop a wire from 30 to here
85 - connect to horn push button (green/white wire)

so to sum up
spade 30 & 86 both need a permanent power supply
spade 87 goes to your horns
spade 85 horn push button

spade 87a does the opposite to 87
when connected up as above your horn wont sound until you push the horn button
but if connected to 87a your horn will always sound until you press the horn button

Many thanks for your help. I will try this out soon. Does the wire from the steering column act as the ground? Cheers
