MDF Parcel Shelf

Hi guys,
Has anyone got any pics/advice on making an MDF parcel shelf?
I know Arnold had one so I was just wondering how difficult it will be.

guessing this is for 6x9s?

Not very difficult really, just measure up and get a piece then custom fit it using jigsaw files etc....

Its pretty easy. You can either get solid wood and drill it into the standard shelf (to make it stronger), or just rebuild the whole lot out of MDF. Use Acustic carpet to cover the speakers, not sub box carpet. We used spray glue to hold the carpet down from the top (no screws visible), but screwed it in underneath. The carpet melts onto the drill bits though, which was fun.
