oh and this may need to be looked at, not mine and unsure of PCD but you know more about these wheels than anyone. (PM's Link)

Sat nav said 18.9 sec quarter and 11.9 0-60 this morning. Only difference from stock is rolling radius.

Grabbed a pic of some of the first blossom of the year this morning too.

I've got something arriving soon that I've wanted for ages. I'ts a bit of a gamble but if it pays off it will be quite excellent. :)
I'll no doubt take some pictures when it's here and fitted.

Here's a couple of recent pics. Back on the bare wellers at the mo because I'm running a single slot on the O/S rear, one of my tyres was doing a good impression of Kojak.

O/S spot "repaired" with baking foil.

The only time I can think of for definite would be the RR awards next Jan, that's if they hold them there, though it has become a bit of a tradition now.

Fair. Think I must go to the cafe for the wrong car events lol. Usually fairly nice cossie drivers. Never japs or duba

I went to ace cafe for a Japanese car meet many many moons ago but it was a bit of a shambles and there were a load of no-necks there illegally clamping peoples cars and demanding £'00s to let people go. Turned into a bit of a turf war so never bothered to go back.

I prefer professionally organised BBQ events in Reading ;)

Professionally is not the word

Exciting stuff!

Just replaced the lighter with a twin usb power socket!

Yeah, I know it's wonky. I just couldn't get it to move once I'd shoved it in the original lighter hole.

Touched in round the rims too where a lot of white could be seen between the tyre and rim, so the wheels look smarter now too.

Went at the wheels with some gold paint a couple off days ago,

Which then went on to inspire an Advan livery themed photo shop. I don't know if I'll end up going that radical, but there'll be some more gold along the way somewhere, possibly just the diagonal stripe in vinyl, or maybe the roof.

What wheels are they out of interest. They look like something that's been through Carl Austin's hands...

Who is Carl Austin?
10524637_10152761496065921_633802358635862235_n.jpg

Carl Austin runs a company called Force Racing. He specialises in Mini parts but mostly he's famous for split rims. I had him make me a set of 13" billet split rims last year for the white K11 N/A track car.

Ahh, I know who you mean now, Carl popped up in "The fun you can have with a big lathe" showing off some of his wares.

This is the pic I tried to post further up:

Which fairly obviously becomes....

And a couple of non-facebook compressed pics, shonkey old phone cam anyway so they are probably no better than those up there.

Off side only, because I've still not got round to cutting the vinyl for the n/s yet!
