manual choke

ive been looking through my haynes book of lies and noticed that some k10's were fitted with manual chokes,

does anyone know what years these were fitted to as i need 1 for my bike carbs, and want to keep it looking nice and origional from the inside, i was planning on using the hole that is already there inline with your left knee.

base model prefacelifts I think. My mum's ls 1987 had one we think, but my 1988 gsx has autochoke.

My facelift 1.0l had a manual choke, it could have been an aftermarket extra though.

well ive had 4 different k10's now from 90-91 ans none of them had it they were all auto. but some must have had it as the haynes says it, ill just have to keep my eyes open

the datsun k10's and very early models did have a choke, all k10 still have the hole in the dash to fit the choke cable (below the steering column and to the left.

The Hitachi carb is available without autochoke.

My 1991 LS Colonial(sp) had one.

So it might be all the base models?

Mine was a 1.0 'Premium' lol, a totally base model.

I've got an '89 LS and that's got an Autochoke.
