Main beam dash light on all the time?

Hello.

Past couple days my main beam dash light has been flickering when on low beam. Tonight it came on fully even when on low beam? And won't go off unless you turn the lights off? Any one had this before.

Guess I'll be getting my multimeter out to mo !

check both headlight plugs, they tend to melt and short out causing this to happen, well it did in my k10

Fixed. Has a headlight out, changed the bulb and now it's fine. It must be a warning for having a bulb out.

It can be caused by the headlight bulb dipped beam element burning out and snapping within the bulb. When you put your dipped beam on the broken element falls against the main beam element putting power back along the circuit and lighting the main beam warning lamp!
