MA12 swap for a Nissan Pao flavour MA10

Hi,

I've a Nissan Pao, with a MA10 on it's last legs.

I'm looking to swap in a MA12 for a bit more poke, and need to establish what's going to be a headache. The Pao has a EGR / Exhaust Recycling Valve set-up, and I assume an ECU to control the same (?). If I get me hands on a MA12 with a ecu controlled carb is it a straight swap, or can I just use my current carb set-up on the new block? Anything I'm not considering that's going to be a complication? I'm not looking to maximise performance, just keep the swap as simple as possible.
