Lowering

I am going to attempt to lower my car this weekend with 35mm lowering springs on standard shocks.

Phoned a local garage and they said 90 quid to fit them, WHAT!?

So do i need spring compressors?

And its just couple of bolts on the rears and swap springs,
then remove shock from front and swap springs, right?

lowering springs so think theres a bit extra on them, will see if i can borrow some compressors from somewhere just to be safe

30 quid in halfords is a bit of a rip

Currently attempting lowering, cannot budge the two bolts at the bottom of the strut, seized solid

Plenty of wd40 on and been trying for half an hour and can't move them

Any helpful tips before I gives up and put the wheel back on?

Quick question I'm thinking about buying some 30mm lowering springs but I travel long distances. will my standard shocks be okay or will it **** them?

Sorry @huntr_micra_sport know I shouldn't be asking on you thread but thought I'd be cheeky :p
