LOCKING WHEELNUT KEY

I have lost the locking wheelnut key for my wife's car :)

Have looked on line for a tool to use to removed the old locking wheel bolts, and there are several styles to choose from. Does anyone have any experience of one style over the other as to which is the most reliable and which I should purchase, or can anyone recommend a service where I can get a replacement key for a reasonable price.

Thanks in advance for any input.

hi . if you got any books or nissan paperwork with the car have a look in that for a bit of paper with the locking nut code on it, then phone your local nissan dealer and it should cost about £17. i found my locking nut code in the boot under the spare wheel. i had to order the lock nut tool and that took 2 days to arrive, good luck.

I had to remove all 4 of mine the old fashioned way. This involves finding a load of old sockets and finding the ones that you can hammer over the locking bolt to grip it and let you unscrew it. I replaced them with normal bolts because when was the last time you heard is someone had their wheels nicked?
