Little problem i need help with

superls

K10 Tuner
Right then boys and girls, as you may know i advertised my SR this morning, so today i thought ID go outside and tidy the inside bla bla, you know the score.

I also thought id fire it up to move it, got in key in turn key, engine half turned over, flat battery.

Goes into the workshop gets my jump battery and jump leads, jumped it, boom fired up, however the engine light started flashing and then cut out after about 3 seconds.

turned ignition off same again run for 3 then cut out, engine light flashing.

Now i had this trouble in jan last year and it cos i broke the transponder pickup ring, but i havent touched anything this time

I took it off the road mid december, and since then ive changed the flywheel and exhaust manifold back to standard, and took the radio out nothing else.

The problem carries all the symptoms of a NATS issue but ive done nothing to instigate them unless the flat battery has done it?

Any ideas?

Cheers

check the inside ecu circuit underneath is not soaked n shorted from water leaking past fan inlet or coolant leak from heater

got this sorted, the same bloke that did it me last time, came out to my house and reset the ecu apparently, only took him 30 seconds, so his labour workes out at about £2.5k per hour lol, im in the wrong job lol

Plus his time to get to your place and return afterwards. You are buying his expertise and use of specialist equipment.

Well.... I don't know how much he charged you, maybe he has a fixed price.
I spent years in the motor trade, it is standard practice to charge a minimum amount for any job. Sometimes I would waive this charge for something really simple, it often led to us getting a new customer.
