leaky micra help

rubber seals of the plastic clips for the wiper scuttle panel under the windscreen left side has perished n water off the wipers flow through it and down into the cabin air inlet port and onto the passenger well and prob over the ecu too.

those felt-rubber seals will eventually fail. if the clips were taken off to be inspected, I would've just cleaned n applied a bead of sealant to guarantee it wont leak again.
can test if it leaks into the passenger carpet by laying some tissue paper in the footwell when dry and run a garden hose over the left side of the windscreen. if water has leaked past that clip seal, through the motor and onto the tissue then u need to apply the sealant.

I had that exact problem theres a rubber grommit under the car that was half out in mine and watter was getting into the car
