late type k10 running ecc ecu system

Right the ign system on the late 1.2 k10,s which uses the ecu some will say its a better performer and could be remapable system,against the older distributer/vacume setup
Would it be possable to run the standard late ecc distributer and ecu on an earlyer k10 model but only using the ignition side i no you would have to run the map and lamda senser but not all the cat and emissions system.
if it could it would be a good system for say twin carbs/bike carb setup

You thinking of running an ignition ECU BOB?

Sounds like the system ED mentioned is best (alpha-n I think). Use dizzy from late K10 ECC for sensor, if I had the money I would do this, perhaps in the summer if ED gives me some more help/advice.

in the past i have had this system around 4 times and put it all in a skip,now iam gunna go out and buy a late k10 which has this ecu run ignition and start stripping all the emission side wilst still keeping it running.
all i want is to end up with the ecu and its distributer with only 2 or 3 sensers and not all that emissions crap
