Idiot Americans have wrenches and, they are wrenching their vehicles.
You UK folks have spanners, are you spannering your vehicles?
Or what is the correct term?
Me speaking and writing Finnglis just wondering, without any intention of offending anyone!

'Working', I dont think spannering is a term (although maybe as some sort of innuendo)

Although someone else might have a different answer and say 'well actually...'

I agree "working on the car" but I have heard the term "spannering" sometimes


So either or i guess, might depend where you are in the country
