Karl's Astra G

My car isn't serious.

I've got a bonnet that looks like its been polished with a Brillo pad, checkered ;) wing mirrors and a set of wheels with what could possibly be the worst paint job on here
You've seen mine, it had a black bonnet now its got one massive white paint run that happens to cover the bonnet, its got a dent in the driver side wing, balloon tires... not every car you own has to be serious!

Hope you don't mind me posting these photos,a friend's Astra G has just came out of the body shop

Ahh ok :) I do like it but the problem with vauxhall is they are like the dub crowd, find a style that works and watch everyone follow

Little update....

Brakes have been squealing like an excited pig for a little while so whilst its cool I set about sorting it.

Ahh that's not meant to be like that :(

Thankfully it was only one of the pads but now I have to get some more by Monday afternoon.

Still that's the slide pins and backs of pads greased up.

I know it's a waste of time seeing as I now need new pads but I didn't find that out until after I'd done one side

Thank god motor world is open sundays

Popped in to order new pads, thankfully they had them on the shelf

Here's a comparison between the pads.

Shh you :p

Safety is paramount for the family car, I refused to take the missus down to her mums (a five minute drive)
You expected it surely.
Couldn't agree more. My family bus looks ready for the scrapyard but underneath its immaculate. Almost an accidental rat type car

Suppose I'd better update this :)

Mot is Friday yay -_-

Also been running high octane fuel for the last couple of fill ups and I don't know if its the fuel or the fact it's not supermarket stuff, but I've seen a definite improvement in mpg

Well that's another 12 months test,

Popped into a few dealerships whilst I was waiting and a facelift caught my eye. Shame I wouldn't get more than £300 for this

Good news people, the astra has gone :)

I won't bother boring you with what I've got now cause I probably won't have it for long
