K12 wiper problem

Had my car three days the wipers are doing my nut in.
Basically everytime they go down they bang hard on the plastic bit at the bottom? Anyone now what's wrong or cheap fix?

Will that fix the problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Update

Wiper arm linkages were worn, fitted the kit linked above and all is good.
