K12 throttle body

Hi all hopefully someone can help me,
Brought the missus a k12 and had to replace the throttle body and position sensor, have set the the sensor to the car however keeps loosing the settings and going into limp mode with EGM light on. Is there anything else I need to do? Cheers

Had that as a previous problem with my k12..replaced a used throttle body, opened it, cleaned it then attached it to intake..first it had high revs, then use it for like 15 minutes or more then after, do the things instructed on the link

Hi guys. I am about to clean my drive by wire throttle body of a Micra K12. Can anybody help me with the following 2 questions
1. Locating the valve on a 1.2 petrol engine from 2005 (looks like its somewhere under the black engine cover?
2. Re-learning the ECM. Should I disconnect the battery before the job or keep the ECM powered. Looks like the Re-learning procedure can be a big challenge after the job : /

Thanks for reading : )

I have this experience..let me share it..i had my clutch replaced (concentric clutch and cluth disc) and after i got my k12 back, i went to a carwash shop and did an engine wash. After that, throttle's not working, accelerator pedal not working but still i need to get home because its already midnight. My car had a steady rev so it made me worry..the following day, i removed my throttle, disassembled it, cleaned it with lacquer thinner, toothbrush and steel brush..i didnt use throttle cleaner..i just soaked the plastic gear from the throttle to the lacquer and wiped carbon also from inside and put it back..i also adjusted the butterfly so it will have a very small opening and assembled it back again. i did idle air relearn after (follow the proper way). Works like a charm :)
