K12 speedo/tacho on a k11?

I'm having trouble finding a speedo cluster with a Rev counter and it poped into my head, will a k12 one work? Like physically work, probably be able to DIY the original surround to make it sit right. I'm just bothered if it'll function the same or do the k12's use their speedo as part of the immobiliser?

It wont work. K12 uses abs can bus signal for spedo operation. Immo is included in k12 spedo also.
