K12 march micra differences

Hello

I have a friend who has been looking at K12 micras for a first car and would like a bit more information on them. There doesnt seem to be a buyers guide anywhere for these. Realy looking at the CR12DE models.

Also i've seen a nice march advertised but am a bit worried because there doesnt seem to be much information about them either. I mean are the cars identical to the uk micra barring higher trim levels? The one I was looking at seemed to have way more options and a fancier interior.

I know the micra is built in the uk, but are the marches built in japan? Is there any diffference in build quality or parts availability? Are they interchangeable?

I was always of the understanding that they are the same.

It's likely that different trim levels are available in one model that aren't in the other - different markets and all that. Apparently we Brits just LOVE plain, boring, plastic interiors.

Seems the March at least the 2002 model may not use OBD2

in jap land they have a '12sr' still cr12de engine but with higher compression to produce 108ps, standard 1.2l is about 80ps ish i think.

12sr is the once to have ;p 1.4l k12 only has 97bhp
