K12 Engine stalling, turning off . Oil warning light, ideas?

Engine keeps cutting out and stopping.
Yellow oil light comes on.
Checked oil, seems to be OK level
Any ideas on how to fix this appreciated.
Car runs fine, then suddenly engine stalls or cuts out.
