Done a little reading on the forums but still not clear on this: Fitted aftermarket radio (Very cheap Chinese ebay thing). The wiring diagram that came with the radio shows a fuse on the 12V battery wire and on the ignition wire, however in reality only the battery wire has one.
Is it
a) vital to fit a fuse on the ignition wire?
b)If not vital: What are the consequences if not - just a burnt out radio or complete electrics failure?
Also, I notice that there is no fuse on the back of this headunit, but is the stereo fused elsewhere too? (fusebox I assume!)??
Incidentally, the unit seems to be working fine without.
