K11 sill corosion

Hi folks,

I'm new here...could I please ask for your opinion?

I'm about to try for my MOT (in France) and I'm wondering whether you think the corrosion holes which my 1997 k11 has on both sills in front of the rear wheels should be considered structural or purely cosmetic. Photos attached. I understand this is caused by the sunroof drains. Thanks, Nick.

UK mot wise well within 30cm of the suspension component instant fail
Just cut the rot out and weld same for the floor , as there looks to be abit

Thanks. Correct, there is a small hole in the right side corner of the floor too. Can this be done with an arc welder or do I need mig?

If your good at it lol , but mig really chop the rust and weld fresh in
