k11 radio removal

Whats the best way to remove the original radio from a K11?

Can you tell me how to remove it rather that writing "properly". That's no help to me whatsoever.

You need to remove the front fascia (the bit in the middle of the dash) the it's four screws and the stereo comes out

I'd recommend keeping the original mounting brackets to is on the new head unit

1. Remove the upward facing screws above the radio, beneath the heater vents in the centre of the dash.

2. Remove the Ash tray and there are two screws behind there also.

3. the plastic panel should now pull off, the heater vents will come with it, be careful to remove the connector for the Hazards and the Heater rear window switches in between the air vents.

3. there are 4 screws behind this which hold the radio onto the dash. remove these

I removed the plastic panel
today. Very easy took 2 mins. I need to buy a harness that goes between the Nissan connector and the ISO one on the Sony header.
