K11 project

Lookin' grand man! Been waiting for some nice new pics of the car for ages. Any plans in line?

Duh, just realised why I couldn't see my message and re-posted... new page!

Not much happening lately, mate.
I bought an amp and next month would be all about getting the best out of the current audio set up. It's pretty cool now, but hey there's always room for improvement :):)

Can't be much room for improvement now? It's pretty sweet a it is, but then thats the thing when its your own isn't it, theres always something more to do...

ha-ha, damn right you are :)
I do not see it as a finished product. Not yet, lol
Will keep you updated

Coming along nicely. :) you NEED those wheels! :p

Japan, Seb
I used Importmaster to get them for me.
Quality does not correspond with the money I paid for them, though

Thats the downside buying on YAJ after paying twice the shipping + the comission takes the deputy service .... cheap stuff becomes expensive and already expensive stuff become even more expensive...

Amen

Looking at a few things myself just don't know if I can justify spending the money

Well I don't mind paying when the quality is good. Re those mirror I'd have thought differently had I seen them in real prior the buy. At least I'd have knocked 30% of the original price. That's the difficult thing when buying from Japan - not always turns up as it should...

Funny enough it turned out that out of 110 people at work I was the only one with a set of jump leads in the boot. For the last 2 weeks I had to help out to 3 customers LOL

This guy couldn't believe it was a Micra out there that could bring his car to life:

As for that one:

...

...He didn't know there's no battery under the bonnet (neither did I lol), so he had to call his mechanic who gave me instructions...

That's my friend Tommy's beauty...

He's driving the car back home after been caught driving a foreign car for more than 6 months in Ireland without registering it as Irish car... 2500 for VRT and 2500 for insurance(he's only 23)...It was too much, so he's bringing it back home...

There was, but I'm not a mechanic, just a DIY man :) I've never had BMWs, so couldn't risk, plus the owner had not a single clue what's under the bonnet... :)

There you go :)
A little fun

The brake light at the bottom of the rear window is going to be converted to a fog light...

Ilegal to do in the UK, not sure about ireland, you better check with you MOT station
The reason I have decided to do it is that I have a third brake light in the spoiler. And if it's not OK with the NCT guys I'll keep it as it is and run separate cables to power it when i need it ;)

A few pics from my birthday party :)
I had the biggest ever surprise for my bday thanks to my wife and another 20 friends waiting for me at home...
