K11 Overheating

Hi all,

Micra has been overheating quite frequently this last few weeks. Has been typically either when sat in traffic or doingmore than 65mph for any length of time. Yesterday started overheating pretty much at any speed except a weird sweet spot between 55-65 mph so possibly getting worse. Radiator fan seems to come on once up to temperature. Can be cooled by turning interior heaters on full blast. Seems to also take well over an hour to cool down. Any ideas? Thinking maybe flush coolant and test thermostat.

Probably worth mentioning it's a Y Reg, second facelift.

Its 90% the radiator, its easy to check, plug a water hose in the top hole and the one in the back should have the same pressure if it is okay.
if the water comes out dirty, is 100% radiator.
