As you know, I own a really nice 1996 K11 1.0. Not a special car, but it's done less than 45k miles. It drives like it's new! Really nice to have a fun little car with its unassisted steering again. It's like driving a go cart!
It was purchased as a replacement for my other half's 2002 k12. It's her first car, and she's had it for 14 years. I'd MOT it again, but she is a bit worried about its reliability and the K11 is in much better condition generally. She's having my boring Vauxhall, and I'm taking the little car as a sort of mini-midlife crisis.
Before I send it to the scrappers, could someone tell me if the nearside doors are the same? My new one has a dink in it; nothing that spoils the car in use, but the other door is perfect so if I could do a swap, It'd look better. Is swapping doors like that straightforward?
Anything else I should have off it while I'm at it? I recently fitted four new tyres to the old one, so they're going over. What else?
