Dont mean to sound like an ass... but how on earth do you get a stage rally spec "half" cage?
If I turned up to stage in a half bolt in the scrutineer would tell me to jog on

True. What is meant by that comment is that the feet are installed properly. This was not the case when I bought it. The cage can be extended with front and side hoops, there are the stubs on it to do so.
 
Do you know the condition of the 1.3 gearbox and shafts? And whether the shafts will match 1.0 hubs? My gearbox is knackered and I'll need a new one soon.

The gearbox and shafts are in the condition you would expect for them after 55,000miles of non competition road use. They were working perfectly when the car was retired and disassembled. I believe the shafts will mate properly to your hubs.

I hope you mean 55k lol not 555k? I believe the input shaft bearing(s) have gone on mine, its hideously loud and is affecting power to the wheels too. Could you pm a rough price for the box and shafts please?

If you've got a sportex silencer. Am I right in assuming you have a sportex back box?

Is it sad that I really want bonnet pins even though the most I've done to the engine is look at it :/ maybe it'll give me the inspiration to turbo her!

One day for now I'll stick with pins :L

I have a very boney back and bottom so bucket seats can be really uncomfortable

Seatbelts are back in properly :/ I need my back seats

3 point harnesses like these can be had for £20 each on ebay. My seats are steel framed rather than fibreglass or c/f. They are quite comfortable imho. I can spend 4hrs straight in them when I compete.
