K11 March brakes for K10

After upgrading my brakes up to Pulsar brakes I now have a redundant set of K11 March front calipers and vented discs, these fit directly onto a K10 hub and would be a great upgrade from standard, they are ready to be fitted, no leaks or broken bleed nipples and good rubbers and seals but could do with a good wire brushing and painting.

I'm looking for £50 + postage or come collect them, I might sell the calipers seperately, but would prefer to get rid of the lot together.

where exactly are you located? will you take £40 if i collect them tonight?

However i would need someone else to confirm that they are a direct swap for the K10 standard ones. (its not that i dont believe you its just that i want to make double sure). lol

well your 41.5 miles away from me, that looks like a really big lip around them so will you take £35 collected

are the disks the same as the micra K11 ones or are they different? what about the pads.

whats the differance between the micra and march k11 braking system?

would any march k11 brakes fit a k10? what modifications have been done to them for them to fit?

my local scrappies has about 7 or 8 k11's in, and when ive got some money i might do the same conversion.

Nah, £40 is as low as I'll go, these are rare.

No they're different, standard K11 Micra are solid discs and 235mm diameter, 12mm thick, K11 March are vented discs, 210mm diameter and 14mm thick. the pads are similar to a Sunnys I think.

This a March pad.

The brake discs are vented so are less likely to fade under heavy braking, they were designed to stop a heavier car, plus I think the pistons are bigger in the calipers but of that I can't be sure.

Yes and No, the K11 micra were different totally, you would need to fit K11 Micra hubs as well as the discs and calipers, K11 Marches had completely different hubs to the K11 Micra, the brakes aren't interchangeable between them. The K11 March discs and calipers will fit straight onto the K10 though.

no modifications are neccesary.

My postcode is SK7 3HW, and they will fit, I think Arnold did the conversion a while back.

actually i did the conversion for him ;) its not exactly a straight swap some "tweaking is required"

if you still have the calipers i'll take them but not interested in part worn disc can get a pair of new ones for £20

how much for just the calipers? postage is not a problem happy to pay for that

£35 for the calipers alone, I dont know about the postage, I'll have to get them to the post office and weigh them, but I shouldn't think it would cost more than about £12 - £15, but thats a guess.

what 'tweaking' is required?

will the figaro ones fit directly, there vented aswell?

i have posted up a step by step in the k10 section way back when i did Arnold's car. i wont go into details as thats a bit off topic (and i cant be bothered to go over it all again for the 20th time :p)

There´s a picture of them fitted on my website. Improve the braking a considerable amount too
