K11 KEY PROGRAMMING

Hello,

I think my key has lost the code, its a blue chip key and i recall last time i had one cut he siimply placed the key in the ignition and did some fast turning on and off in the ignition but i forgot that sequence can you help?

the car has been stood for 3 weeks, i put the key in, it started and 2 seconds later stopped, the nissan radio code light flashes once everyfew seconds but the dash light does go off, i've not a clue what happened can anyone help.

car is K11 micra 2001 none remote locking

Gary

I dont think its the key, i've took a plug out and its sparking, fuel pump switch fuse fine, its showing petrol but i'm going to stick a fiver in, can anyone tell me how to lift rear seat up to access fuel pump?

Well ita not fuel pump, it feeds the injection rail, it is either whatevea controls injection rail or the NATS system, does the nat control a k11 2001 micra?

I have the same sort of problem with my 2.0 micra have you tried looking at the injector fuse to see if its corroded

Does anyone on here know anything about micra's seeing as its a micra website?

Not a clue, getting your hair off after a day won't see results.

Sounds like a NATS has kicked in, only people I know that can sort it are main dealers and Ed at fusion motorsport

nats cuts the injector negative signal from the ecu gary, i would guess your coilpack type k11 does the same, tho the mil light should be flashing in theory.
any faultcodes showing ?

nats cuts the injector negative signal from the ecu gary

Thats interesting, the fuse pack next to the battery does not have any fuse for injectors... what turns the NATS off? and why did it kick in? have the correct key and i've been told theres no such thing has losing the code out the key

if the injectors have a live feed, and there,s fuel pressure in the rail, and it runs for a few seconds with a drop of fuel down the throttlebody, then it sounds nats like to me

still dont know why its kicked in? can you please tell me which is ecu relay

Right, im stuck... last question before i burn my car, why.. WHY has the NATS system come on?? why? what software turns it off without getting gang banged by a nissan dealer?

the most common cause seems to be the aerial box around the barrel gary, but there,s various different types of nats systems, and different types of ecu,s too

checked all the fuses, nissan said the key must of lost its code? anyone know if thats true because another trader said this aint possible

What are these videos showing me? i been told, take out the blue chip and then try key and look for the warnings, that should elliminate the key code no?

You have to read the comments on the second one

Hey dude, yeh it's fine now, i realised the problem was the ignition barrell it's a bit loose maybe your's is too, the way to start it regularly is to turn the key to on position then turn the key as you normally would then quickly flick it back to the on position this way there isn't too much current to cut it off, hope this helps, now my car starts first time everytime, Thanks, Asif.

and the first one is
I remember seeing a youtube video of a new chip/key being matched to the car using a free programme on a lap top.

Ok well i have an update, i took blue chip out of key and the dash red light over radio came on, i put the chip back in and light went off, does that eliminate the key?

there,s a pdf explaining the different nats 1, 234 and 5 systems hosted by adkautoscan.com gary, yours should be showing codes really (p1612, p1614 ?)
