K11 Injectors

A query.

I'm taking my K11 to Mongolia, and am trying to decide what spare parts to bring.

My list so far:
- Shocks/springs
- Gasket kit
- Spare belts
- Injectors?
- Hoses

So, here's the question. Do you think it's worth bringing some spare injectors? Maybe the whole rail, just in case?

What's the consensus? There's some seriously poor quality fuel in the countries we are going too, and a blocked injector is of concern... I think.

all range of nuts & bolts commonly used on the k11,
bulbs n fuses,
of course the compulsary cable ties & ducktape & wd40,
fluids (engine, gear, brakes, coolant or water),
essential tools,
endoscope,
fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors with new seals,
spark plugs.

concerning fuel blockage, first prep the car beforehand by removing and completely rinsely clean the fuel tank from years of old sediments.
replace the fuel filter and get the injectors cleaned by specialists.

if the countries fuel was very dirty, the pickup mesh would capture most of the big particles,
then the fuel filter does most of the work capturing most of the medium-small particles,
then the final mesh gauze over each injector as a last resort captures some medium bits that could've gone past the filter.
getting the injectors themselves blocked mostly happens over long term when the very fine sediments get baked/gunked onto the mechanism/ports through years of heat cycles etc.
carrying the injectors/rail would be convenient but not essential. replacing the fuel filter is more important. correct diagnosis of the problem with limited spares is the most important aspect.

carrying more parts n equipment would obviously be convenient & speeds up repairs but I suppose on a very limited carrying capacity, one needs to prioritise which bits are essential to survive/progress.

Thanks!

I've found something called a Mr Funnel Funnel, which has a filter built in, seems like a good purchase...

Two follow up questions

- what do you suggest I rinse the tank with? Ball-bearings and fuel?
- injector cleaning, can you suggest anyone? I've never done this/had this done, so am going a little blind. I'm guessing the fuel-additive injector cleaners like redex aren't enough, right?
