K11 idle

was coming home with a couple of people in the car stuck in traffic and the car just stalled if i stopped accelerating so had to keep revving a little

does anyone know why that happens?

Either a weak spark or a poor air fuel ratio (AFR)

My micra has done this before when my HT leads were crap!

My Orion does it because the car over fuels on cold start so need to keep the throttle open to get an AFR which the car can run on (until cold start cuts off)

I'd check the condition of your HT leads, if the leads feel stiff they are crap, although could be another part of the ignition system. It's an easy thing to check as it only means opening the bonnet.

I had this problem in my previous micra. The solder joints on the TB were going....causing a poor idle occasionally and for it to stall at traffic lights. Resoldered them and it was cured!
