K11 front speakers

Hi everyone

According to the stickied post, I need 16.5-17cm (6.5") speakers. The mounting depth is apparently 54mm without spacers.

Just so to make sure I get some decent speakers, I'd like to know what brand/model of speakers other people have put in the door panels of their K11s and how it sounded once they were in.

kenwood Type E's in my little monster. I would'nt recommend them without rear speakers though as they are my 2nd set.

Did they fit ok, the type Es? Do I need an adapter for them? How do they sound?

I already have two pioneer 6x9s in the parcelshelf, the sound quality is just let down by the two stock front speakers (which frankly sound like arse).
