K11 driving lights wiring - Help please!

Hi

I'm trying to fit some driving lights to my K11. I was under the impression that if I fitted a relay into the 4 pin relay socket and wired them firstly (please bear with me here) onto the plug uner the brake servo with green & black wires.....nothing. Then I tried another plug behind the headlights with green & black wires...still nothing. I have a fuse inserted in what I think is the correct holder but I can't get a live.

I'm trying to do this properly and avoid tapping into the main beam circuit.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tom

there should be the wiring already there (should be a brown two pin connector near each of the head lights), though not 100% if they are there for every model...

They use the relay (wires: Orange, Red/Green, Black, Light Green -- light green and black is lamp feed/return) in the fuse box on the drivers side engine bay, its called "driving lamps" on the lid...the other fuse needs to be in F8 (8th fuse on the left row) in the fusebox inside the car...this is linked through F7 (Horn) according to the haynes...

check to make sure F8 has blade connectors in the fusebox, just in case as i know some of mine are empty.

The lamps also use 4 earth points:

RH lamp uses : Behind RH Kick panel/dashboard and Near RH front strut tower.

LH lamp uses : Behind LH Kick panel/dashboard and Inner wing behind LH Headlight.

if youre fitting them as they are originally factory fitted / intended for use then these will only work under full high beam...as in cant really be used during normal driving.

hope that helps :)
