K11 Aerial Fix Help

Hey guys, ordered a bee sting aerial after seeing mine needed replacing only to find the this one doesnt unscrew like i thought it would.. or maybe it does and im being stupid. good thing they are only cheap haha

can anyone help how to get this off and replaced?

Could just be my phone, if its the standard roof aerial your trying to remove i had to use a vice grips on mine it was bloody tight but unscrewed eventually!

Yeah that works, cant say ive seen an aerial like that before. Looks like maybe just the tip of it might screw off? Otherwise you can remove the whole unit by removing the headliner?

i tried twisting and pulling and all i did was take the cap and taped bit off, how hard is it to replace the whole unit?

Not hard as such just time consuming as you have to remove the headliner from inside the car to get at the nuts.holing it in place, its different to the stamdard one on mine but there.may have been different types used
