Easy mate, bolt to your gearbox, use a preface lift cg10 flywheel, clutch,
weld on drivers side mount done,
Put mine in on my own in a few hours

Then you just gotta think how your gunna run it, EFI/carbs,

Your gunna need an external electric pump either way, so if you've got ECU and stuff allready, then stick with EFI, and get injection fuel pump

Done :)

Easier said than done for me, I have nowhere to do it :(

Done 90% of mine on the sloping drive outside my flat :)

I did use the a frame crane at the workshop to put engine in, only because the hoist type crane was in use somewhere else.

Honestly mate, it's really easy, u could do it no problem.

I really don't think there's an easier engine conversion

Efi would defo be easier, you don't have to modify the ma10 dizzy to fit the cg head, which is a right pain!

DO IT! ;)

Haven't done anything to the car since buying it but that doesn't mean nothings happening :)

Started stripping my silver k11 of it's engine wiring loom and the engine of stuff that I need for the cg10 I got off Doug

Unfortunately I get very easily distracted so other than some inlet parts I still have a lot to do

Started stripping the cg10 that Doug gave me as he said it was running rough when he removed it

Whipped the head off, is this normal carbon build up on top of the pistons?

Ok so been really busy with other things so still nothing has happened

Still have the parts car so I figure ill use everything thing under the bonnet just have a few questions

Can I use the steering column as well as the rack?
With the car being a 2000 (w reg) does it have mechanical or electronic Speedo sensor and can it be modified to suit the k10 clocks?
Is it worth using the complete wiring system from the k11 so that I can make use of NATs?

Electric speedo on that one Karl, I'd be pulling the whole loom out and swopping it over for simplicity :)

Have decided to go in a completely different direction with this car to what I've previously posted, progress will be painfully slow due to other commitments

With Charlie back on the road the 10 is coming off which means I no longer need to worry about needing it to get me to and from life stuffs

Made a start :)

Just need to remove the 25 year old sound deadening and put in some seats and we're half way there

Flipping heck there pretty old school bike carbs haha. Should be good though, and because the float bowls are level with the intakes you don't need the intake mani to be swept up like with other bike carbs
