K10 engine

I have a Micra K10. Its a 1992 5 door manual. 1235cc. How do I find out if it has a 40 KW / 54 PS engione or a 44 KW / 60 PS engine? And does it matter when buying a new exhaust system?

the power probably dropped a bit when they fitted a cat to the later k10,s chris
shorter downpipe too iirc

Hi Frank. Thanks for your answer. My car definitely has a cat. So if I order a new exhaust system (with a cat) I should get the right one.
