Had a productive evening, swapped the SR steering column into the Super S so that I can fit the newer style stalks that don't go all faded, just have to rewire the plugs for the stalks now then it will be all sorted!

Couldn't find my T50 security torx bit so had to switch the column with the steering wheel still attached!

And did the horizontal rear wiper mod, also fitted new number plates the other day :)

Great job on giving this Super S some much needed TLC, wish you lived closer I'd take the original steering wheel off you. The horizontal wiper mod looks so much better, is it a fairly straight forward mod ? Keep up the good work.

Another productive day, wired in the plugs for the newer style stalks and the later spec dark plastic dash switches. Finished off my flip key and central locking. All thats left to do now is refit the dash and fit new door locks in to match the new ignition. Then just have to do a patch of welding and maybe replace the brake lines before it goes off for MOT.

Replaced the front discs and pads today and while I had the wheels off I thought I would try to clean them up a bit.
This was after washing them, brake dust absolutely baked on:

I then polished the hell into them and they ended up looking like this:

Still don't particularly like them but they have 5-6mm tread on them so I'll keep them on for now.

Hi mate,
Great upgrade project and she looks good always liked that colour, please keep us updated with pics!

Thanks for sharing.

Treated the car to a nice leather steering wheel today since it passed MOT :)
The old one I had to cut open and squirt super glue into it so that it wasn't flexing around the bar for the MOT.

Nothing particularly exciting, fitted LEDs to my dials as I was sick of barely being able to see them!
