Tonight i took the coilovers apart.

Used my new birthday tool

Clarke 1000w impact wrench

Was £60

Really good at stuff like wheel nuts hub nut ect but wouldnt do coilover top nut. I guess because the shaft was spinning with it.

Bottom bush fell out of shock. I thought what is goin on here?

Closer inspection i found the previous owner of these had wrapped green electrical tape round the bush, which had failed miserably.

They stick out a bit. So will have to get an arch roller and have a go at streching them.

Them wellers look awesome!

Yer i love them. The only thing i dont like is that they are redrilled. But one day i will get the holes welded up and resprayed.

Just looking at getting the arches rolled as much as i can because i dont want to get arch extenders if i can help it.

Previous owner said exhaust was leaking from underneath. Actually found it was coming from the manifold to exhaust join.

So ordered these

This weekend i started on the lower coilover bushes which were cover in tape.

7074c406065f6ec7713c2cd6351000d1.jpg

Started with 2 part mix which is amazing. If anybody is in any doubt its about £20 and you could prob get 10 or 15 bushes made out of it. Quality stuff tough, durable just what i needed.

I then put the metal collar into the middle of the mount and poured the mixture around it.

The mixture went off within about 3 hours but to fully set needs 24 hours

Standard shocks with 35 mm lowered springs on them. Springs in really good condition. So if any body wants some 35mm springs to buy or go swap for something give me a shout
