when he arrived on thurs it had overheated in the long queue into the park.
I took the head off on saturday and found big red clumps of solidified radweld which had prob blocked the cooling jacket, overheated it and warped the head.
worked through the night replacing the HG and got it running again but it still ploomed alot of coolant smoke and losing coolant.

it could technically drive home but it wouldn't be feasible due to huge smoke, getting pulled over alot, refilling the coolant every few miles of the +100m trip, and the roads near their place are single-lane country main road with no run-off so won't be able to stop when it runs outa coolant. so instead they got it trailed home safely but at a huge cost.
