JAE 2016 - Discussion Thread!

Anyone have any stand layouts? I'm assuming we'll have ample space but I will need to ensure I'm not boxed in.

I'm not camping this year and will need to be able to leave in the evenings and I don't want anyone having to move cars when they're on their 9th beer from the MSC paddling pool ;)

I did draw up the stand to scale... but James never did get back to me with the exact size of the marquee :/

Thanks for the offer Paul!
Well be fine though just a mountain of niggly bits to sort out :) xxx
they all add up. I always have a long todo list of small tasks whenever I drive her. and these recent events driving her at tracks just adds more stuff I wanna fix.
projects cars are never fixed

Basically Mr. Attention Seeker over here wants to be parked at the front!

James, this is probably super late to ask but you know my m8 Neil Jackson who has this super rare white Nismo march from Japan that I sometimes go to local trackdays with, would it somehow be possible for him to bring it to display for one of the jae days if he wanted to?

This one. Thought it would be cool to display before he decides to store it away in his garage museum someday soon.

Haha. Actually down one end out of the way like I was at Japday would be perfect, so I can hide my crumbling paintwork

Actually, to be fair, with 30-45 places and only 19 people on the official list, I doubt it will be an issue to be honest.

YES!!!

Ah bad news, he's busy that week so can't make it :( maybe next year. but I might pop down to visit him this weekend to detail inspect both of our cars on his garage ramp :)

Not 100% sure if I'll be there on the Thursday now or the Friday as I'm in the middle of training on my new job.

Eek!

I do have a spare BBQ here that we can use while we wait for the "Club" BBQ, but if anyone else wants to volunteer to cook I'm all ears, but I can cook - I've managed to survive 30 years so far! :D

@joesouthgate keep me up to date :)

I'm aiming for around 12 but may be later than that by the time I've picked up my Landy from girlfriends house and caravan from storage and bbq from my friends house!

Well the K11 is all cleaned up, all my stuff is packed and i think i'm just about ready to leave tomorrow morning! Can't wait to see you guys again! Been too long, just a shame the K10 isn't coming with me this year. (but i am bringing some cool JDM stuff to show off that is for the K10 lol ;) )

Just arrived back home safely on the south coast in glorious sunshine after my first JAE.

Thanks so much to everyone who was there for making me feel welcome and for an excellent weekend. The cars may be the common interest that brings us together but an event like this all about the people. For me, that's what makes this club great & why old members return year after year, with or without a small Nissan hatchback. I'll definitely try to stop being such a dirty lurker on here & start contributing - though I don't feel I have that much of interest to say!

I'll certainly see you all again in a year - though hopefully sooner!

Micra love x x

Well another year another jae... what a year!
I mean damn!
What a year!
Thank you all so much for the madness!
Mike you are a legend glad we made you feel welcome we've got to qualify as the most friendly club!
Great to see you all again!
