iPod Connector.

Hello,

This my first post so please be gentle!! I've had a quick search but couldn't find anything. I'm trying to find out if there's an iPod connector that will fit a '04 Micra SX fitted with the Nissan CD header unit?

I've also been told that removing the stereo involves taking the dash apart? Is this true?

just buy an iTrip, it connects to the bottom of your iPod and goes through your radio signal, simply choose a station and your off

We've already got an iTrip and to be honest it's rubbish. The only time it's ever really worked without interference was driving through Queensland where there aren't any radio stations!! Having an iTrip also means that the iPod can't be controlled from the steering wheel/header unit.

either get a unit with an ipod interface

or

get a headunit with an aux in (either fron or back) then buy a car charger plus a dock.
mount the dock to you dash/ centre console and plug in the aux cable and charger (which car then be hard wired into your power source)
